Tenergy Christ Water LLC of New Britain, Connecticut announced that they have been selected by Cangene Corporation to provide a Duplex 33 gpm USP water system for a new manufacturing facility in Winnipeg. Cangene, based in Canada, is one of the world’s leading companies in the development, manufacturing and commercialization of specialty hyperimmune plasma and other biotechnology products. The water system is a customized design, sized to meet the growing needs of Cangene’s business. The equipment includes a Loopo distribution skid that utilizes a Steritron electrolytic ozone generator for sanitization.

The water system is required for new manufacturing capacity and provides Cangene with water for both process and utility requirements. The water treatment system will be shipped in December 2005 and the complete system is to be fully operational by the end of March 2006. The capability to supply a complete system, with minimal onsite installation requirements, was a key factor in the decision. This is made possible by minimizing the size of the equipment and the number of connections for the equipment, which reduces both manufacturing and installation time.
