The project includes a Duplex 33 gpm USP water system for a new manufacturing facility in Winnipeg.
Cangene Corporation, based in Canada, is one of the world’s leading companies in the development, manufacturing and commercialization of specialty hyperimmune plasma and other biotechnology products. The water system is a customized design, sized to meet the growing needs of Cangene’s business. The equipment includes a Loopo distribution skid that utilizes a Steritron electrolytic ozone generator for sanitization.

The Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) has agreed to
terms with BWT AG, of Austria – Europe’s market leader in Water Treatment, which will
facilitate the acquisition of majority ownership of Tenergy Christ Water, LLC of New Britain, CT by BWT and a private European investor.
With this agreement, a full re-capitalization and restructuring of the existing Tenergy loan agreement with the State was realized, in a manner that immediately satisfies outstanding payments due to the State; secures new cash investments by BWT in the business; and, re-establishes job growth targets to create high paying manufacturing jobs in New Britain.
